Why Live in Broward County?

Broward County has been a hub of new development activity ever since its inception. In 1919, not long after Broward County was founded, the first "tourist hotel" opened in Fort Lauderdale, allowing visitors to stay close to the area's beautiful beaches and bask in the warm sunshine. Soon after, developers created island communities on former swampland.

Today, Broward County continues to be a popular Florida destination. Tourists flock to the area's sandy beaches to go swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and sunbathing, and residents enjoy living close to numerous amenities and attractions.
